IDN Magazine - Magnetized.

All started off when we were experimenting with this Behringer Audio Controller.
Due to reasons that probably should remain nameless it broke down - and that’s where we experienced this strong magnetic force it produced. We even could control it properly. So we quickly set up a piece of software to extract image data from an IDN magazine cover which eventually would not only control the buildup of our sculpture, but also the LEDs in the parts to color it.

How to get shit for free on the plane…

It’s pretty crazy that you have to pay for everything on a plane these days. Especially when you end up spending a fortune on your ticket, as you didn’t book it long enough in advance… Here’s a little tip that will get you at least some FREE peanuts, beers and films to make the journey a little bit more comfortable.

FMX 2010 Presentation

A Taste Of Sonar


On 5th and 6th of March, an outstanding electronic music event took place at the Roundhouse in London, UK. Artists from all around the world were invited and Minivegas and Quayola were asked to do visuals. Sonar somehow managed to convince the enigmatic North American MC DOOM to headline the first day, which turned out to be his first appearance on European grounds ever. For saturday, French techno DJ Laurent Garnier took the main slot.

Beside a jaw-dropping live AV-show from Ryoichi Kurokawa on friday and a in no way inferior laser show by Edwin Van Der Heide on saturday, Minivegas provided live visuals for Matthew Herbert, John Talabot or Sonar’s “Special Surprise Act” 2 Many DJs.
